An association of seed companies registered by the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services (KEPHIS) to produce,
process and/or market seed in Kenya. An independent Secretariat co-ordinates its activities in serving the interests
of members.

Executive Officer
He leads and manages the Secretariat to stimulate a vibrant Seed sector. He has extensive exposure on Seed &
Livelihood issues and Advocacy work with over 14 years’ experience in Senior Management. Duncan holds a Masters of Arts in Planning from
the University of Nairobi.

Joyce Wairimu Karanja
Finance and Administration Officer
Joyce handles the Secretariat’s financial procedures, bookkeeping and administrative duties. She is a Certified Public
Accountant and holds a Masters of Business Administration from University of Nairobi. She has over 6 years’ experience in the seed industry.

IT and Communications
She works at STAK to ensure the IT function is flawless and efficient, communications within and without reach the intended
& its online presence is felt by the stakeholders. Betty is a BSc. in Information Science graduate from Moi University.
